Corlears Hook Park

This spacious park, located at the intersection of Jackson and Cherry Streets along the Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Drive on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, is named after 17th century Dutch landowners, the Van Corlear family, and the geographic bend in the shoreline that had the shape of a hook.
